Top Hedge fund Manager Earnings for 2009

Absolute Return + Alpha (AR) has released the annual ranking of the top 25 earning hedge fund managers for 2009. As a requirement to get on the list, the managers needed to earn at least $350 million. The top earner was David Tepper of Appaloosa, with $4 billion in earnings. The hedge fund managers earned $25 billion, which is more than double the amount earned in 2008.
