We will be hosting a fund cram / review session. This event is oriented towards persons with Hedge funds or in Private Equity, that are looking to raise capital and improve their business development process. We will spend four hours reviewing documentation, approach, regulation, etc. This event is for people who presently run or are considering launching a Hedge Fund, Private Equity Fund or Real Estate Fund. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the present environment for marketing and what leading competitors in their space are doing to raise capital. To get through security, you must register. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow.


CHIP PERKINS, PRESIDENT, PERKINS FUND MARKETING

Mr. Perkins is the Founder and Managing Member for Perkins Fund Marketing and is responsible for the overall operation of the firm, new business development, management of the sales force as well as sales in South America, Spain, Portugal and the Benelux countries.

Mr. Perkins formed his own alternative investment-marketing firm and broker/dealer; Perkins Fund Marketing, LLC. Since the firm's founding in 1997, Perkins has raised assets in excess of $3.8 billion for its fund managers.



MATTHEW LUCIANO, HEAD OF CAP INTRO & PB SALES DINO GROUP SECURITIES

Matthew A. Luciano has over twelve years of hedge fund industry experience, and has been working in the financial services sector since 1995. He has structured several fund of funds, hedge funds, IPO’s & private placements. Most recently, he served as a VP and Strategy Head in Bank of America’s alternatives division, where he covered Global Macro and Event Drive funds. Prior to this, for three years, he served as the senior fund of funds strategist at Pergament Advisors. Since 2000, he has invested and redeemed from over 90 hedge funds. MBA in Finance from Fordham University. BA from Johns Hopkins Univesity. Series 7&6


MARK MCGOLDRICK, SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER, ALARIS PRIME BROKERAGE

Mr. McGoldrick is a founding member of Alaris Trading Partners LLC and is the Managing Director of Prime Services. Mr. McGoldrick has extensive trading and prime rokerage experience dealing in all facets of the alternative space. Prior to joining Alaris, Mr. McGoldrick was employed by UBS as Associate Director in the Primer Brokerage division working with hedge funds in a sales, relationship and capital introductions capacity. Mr. McGoldrick started his career with State Street in the portfolio accounting division covering the Paine Webber funds.




LAURI MARTIN, SENIOR PARTNER PRISM ADVISORS

Lauri Martin is owner of PRISM Advisors, a US based hedge fund due diligence advisory company. Lauri has 14 years of operational due diligence experience focused on hedge funds and financial institutions. She has performed over 1200 extensive hedge fund evaluations and her experience encompasses a wide range of asset classes at managers around the world.

Prior to forming PRISM in 2009, Lauri worked in the fund of funds and private banking arena where she managed the development of Swiss bank Union Bancaire Privee�s structural due diligence process. At UBP, she managed their global due diligence team focused on their hedge fund business, and was most recently their Deputy Head of Structural Risk.

Prior to UBP, Lauri worked for the CFO of JP Morgan�s investment management business. Prior to JP Morgan, she started her career at Ernst & Young, focused on capital markets and operational risk consulting for banks across the United States.

Lauri has significant experience identifying operational flags and patterns within asset management companies, and has spoken at industry conferences globally on the topic of operational risk.


BRIAN HICKEY MANAGING DIRECTOR, ALTERNATIVE ASSET GROUP PRACTICE LEADER, CJP COMMUNICATIONS.

Brian Hickey has more than two decades of experience in the alternative asset, investment banking and capital markets arenas and leads CJP Communications’ Alternative Asset Group. Created to address the specific needs of alternative asset managers and investors at hedge funds, private equity firms and real estate groups, Brian and his team provide a comprehensive suite of strategic counsel, communications and investor relations services that enable managers to greatly enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of media and client communications.

Before joining CJP Communications, Brian was a principal at Walek & Associates, a PR firm specializing in capital markets, traditional and alternative asset management. Previously, Brian was director of communications and media relations for 1,100-attorney law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, with a particular focus on the firm’s corporate, hedge fund and fund formation practices. Prior to his work at Orrick, Brian was a principal and director of communications for technology investment bank Broadview International, where he established the firm’s first-ever communications group and led global PR programs that included the launch of Broadview’s VC and late-stage private equity funds. Brian spent the first 10 years of his career as a journalist and ran his own corporate communications consultancy, serving clients such as Citibank, MasterCard, CBS Television and the National Football League.

Brian’s work extends to fund intermediaries and service providers as well as international law firms with significant capital markets practices. He regularly conducts customized media training as well as executive presentation workshops for CEOs and investment managers and frequently counsels senior management on how to convert nascent trends and issues into effective thought leadership vehicles. His many years of working closely with leading reporters covering hedge funds, private equity and capital markets have produced close working relationships with the press. Brian received his BS from New York University, with a concentration in journalism. He is an investor in several privately held technology companies in the US and Europe. Brian is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Capital Roundtable and Legal Marketing Association.

ED MATLUCK, - PRESIDENT HEDGE METRICS

Ed has worked in quantitative investing, risk management, portfolio construction and portfolio optimization. Previously he was an industry analyst and an international economist. He has worked both in the U. S. and abroad He has a PHD in economics from NYU

Hedge Metrics provides portfolio management advice to hedge funds and other financial institutions. Based on a macro view and our statistical analysis of the market, we give guidance on investment themes, inflection points and relative sector and industry valuations. Advice is based an a statistical model which uses 30 years of quarterly, monthly and daily data on fundamentals, expectations, estimate revisions, valuations and momentum. Clients include large global macro, multi strat and long/short equity hedge funds, money managers and sovereign wealth funds.


IRWIN LATNER, CHAIR / PARTNER , HEDGE FUND GROUP HERRICK FEINSTEIN

Irwin Latner represents individual and institutional fund managers in the establishment and ongoing operation of private investment funds (hedge funds and private equity funds), both domestic and offshore. His practice also includes representation of investment advisers, broker-dealers and commodity pool operators, as well as structuring strategic investor agreements, marketing agreements and operating agreements among the principals, developing compliance programs, fund restructurings, derivative transactions and other corporate transactions associated with the establishment and ongoing operation of a private investment fund. Irwin regularly speaks at hedge fund industry seminars and is frequently quoted in the press on current hedge fund industry issues.

Irwin also has extensive experience in a variety of other corporate transactional and regulatory work, including public offerings, private placements, structured finance transactions, joint ventures, bank financings and technology licensing agreements. He has represented numerous asset managers, major domestic and international banks, securities firms, European governments and public and private companies.

Prior to joining Herrick, Irwin was a Partner at the law firm of Sadis & Goldberg LLC in New York. Prior to Sadis, he was Senior Associate in the Finance and Corporate Departments of the New York office of Baker & McKenzie. While at Baker, he worked on numerous international financings, acquisitions and joint venture transactions, and authored several articles in the banking and derivatives areas. Irwin began his career as an associate with Seward & Kissel where he gained experience in structured finance transactions and bank regulatory matters.
