CROSS-BORDER PRIVATE EQUITY SERIES FOCUS ON INDIA
OCTOBER 5, 2010
We will be hosting a cross-border Private Equity event with a focus on India. This event is oriented towards persons
within the fund space looking at India deal-making and transactions. We will spend a morning focusing on India activity. This event is for
people who presently or are considering activity in India-related business transactions.
To get through security, you must register.
The event starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow.
NAZNEEN KANGA, DIRECTOR - HCI FUND
Nazneen Kanga is a director with Heritage Capital, investment manager to the Heritage Capital India funds. Heritage Capital targets absolute returns through a long short equities strategy, investing in several secular growth themes while simultaneously reducing risk by shorting individual stocks.
Ms. Kanga has previously spent three and a half years in Marketing and Investor Relations with Sandstone Capital, a hedge fund focused on India and, before that, 13 years working with Institutional Investor. Ms. Kanga focuses on institutional marketing, related joint ventures and distribution arrangements. She is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business.

Anna George is the founder and managing partner of Novindia, a fund of fund focused on India driven hedge fund strategies. She is a graduate of Columbia University.
ADAM LARKEY, MANAGING DIRECTOR - O3 CAPITAL
Adam Larkey is Managing Director and President of O3 Capital. O3 Capital focuses on liquid hedge fund strategies in the Indian market place. Adam runs the private equity group of O3 focused on bi-directional, cross border mergers and acquisitions. He has advised on transactions with an aggregate market value in excess of $1 billio

Amit Soni is a vice president with General Atlantic, a $16 billion private equity fund. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business.
WILLIAM HADDAD, PARTNER, DLA PIPER
William Haddad represents public companies (NYSE, AMEX, Nasdaq, OTC) and private companies in connection with corporate, securities, and M&A transactions.
He has substantial experience with public offerings, PIPEs, private placements of securities, venture capital investments, Rule 144A debt offerings, going private transactions, and public and private mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Haddad also advises public companies on disclosure and corporate governance issues, shareholder relations, and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the rules and regulations of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc., and the major stock exchanges.
